Before installing SOLIDWORKS 2026, please take note of the updated system requirements to ensure a smooth transition and optimal performance.
Important Compatibility Guide
Operating System Requirement: SOLIDWORKS 2026 requires Windows 11 Professional.
Service Pack Recommendation: We strongly advise installing from Service Pack 1 onward (available starting in February 2026).
Memory Requirement: The recommended RAM has been increased to 32GB.
If you are not yet ready to upgrade your Windows OS, we recommend remaining on SOLIDWORKS 2025 SP05, which is still supported on Windows 10 Professional.
