Gyrene Develops Critical Water Purification Systems with SOLIDWORKS and 3DEXPERIENCE Works

After building its proof of concept with AutoDesk Fusion®, Gyrene quickly realised that it needed a better product development system to be commercially viable. “We work with a lot of external contractors and engineers, and we ran into issues maintaining revision control when two people needed to work on a file at the same time,” said Curtis Leo, CTO.

Switching to SOLIDWORKS® meant Gyrene could rebuild its modular water purification system to customer specs and easily share data and work remotely on the same design. Using SOLIDWORKS Simulation tools also allowed the company to optimise the design and reduce its weight by 20%.
